During a routine check-up, I had mentioned to Dr. Ro that I was thinking of going to Brazil to have a mouth-full of veneers put in. She gently explained to me that I really only need 4 front teeth replaced for the desired effect, so going through all of the pain for an entire mouth of teeth would be unnecessary. I’d been coming to Dr. Ro for almost a decade and didn’t realize she specializes in veneers. I am so grateful that I listened to her advice.

It ended up being the most perfect solution and I am thrilled. The best part about doing veneers locally instead of traveling out of the country, you can swing by if you ever need an adjustment. I am an actor, and a few days before my scheduled veneer installation date, I booked a major TV role. Dr. Ro’s team scrambled to adjust schedules to get me in and done (after-hours) so that I would look fine for filming the next day. Thank you Dr. Ro!

After moving to Manhattan in 1996, I tried a few different dentists and then found Dr. Ro, who at that time was just starting out. I never had to look again. Dr. Emily Ro has been proudly serving patients at the Chelsea office since 2004. Her mission is to be a partner to all her patients and their loved ones in maintaining their dental health, preventing problems before they occur. Her approach is to treat everyone as she would her own family & friends.

As a specialty-trained Prosthodontist, Dr. Ro offers expert care, from placing bondings, or one veneer or crown on a damaged or misshapen front tooth to provide the best possible match to adjacent teeth, to addressing advanced full mouth cases resulting from trauma, congenital defects, damage from oral cancer or bruxism. All recommendations always consider the simplest, most conservative options first.

Dr. Ro enjoys her chosen profession as much as spending precious time with her husband and children, and her rambunctious Schnoodle Mochi.
