I was voted best smile in my school last year and that couldn't have been possible without the confidence Dr. Ro has given me. When my mom was looking for a dentist who specialized in replacement teeth for me in 2008, a reputable oral surgeon recommended the best: Dr. Ro. I first came to her when I was 7, and I can't remember ever dreading going to the dentist. I knew I was in the best hands when I saw Dr. Ro be a perfectionist with my prosthetic teeth. She watched me grow up and I sincerely think that she treats her patients as she would her family. Now, as an adult, I realize I have been spoiled with this level of care and can't imagine going to anyone else!

After moving to Manhattan in 1996, I tried a few different dentists and then found Dr. Ro, who at that time was just starting out. I never had to look again. She is absolutely the best dentist I’ve seen and I’ve seen many. She’s highly professional, patient, competent, and always up to date with the latest dental machinery and advanced techniques. She’s a perfectionist and once returned a crown to the lab three times until satisfied with the color and fit [she now has her own milling equipment]. It’s no surprise that she’s built a very successful practice in Chelsea over the past several decades with many satisfied patients.
I feel lucky beyond belief to be Dr. Ro's patient. I have gone through three dentists in the past four years and Dr. Ro is the first one to really listen to my issues and solve them in a creative way all while treating me with the utmost kindness and compassion. I was so impressed with Dr. Ro that I brought my 11 year old daughter to see her, too. One of her adult teeth was too skinny and made her feel self conscious about her smile. In one session, Dr. Ro fixed it and now my daughter literally cannot stop smiling. What a confidence boost. Anytime I hear a friend complain about their dentist, I tell them to see Dr. Ro. She goes above and beyond for her patients.

Emily Ro, DDS, MS
Dr. Emily Ro has been serving patients from the Chelsea Office since 2004, and is proud to be referred their coworkers, friends and family for decades. Her mission is to be a partner to all her patients in improving and maintaining a confident, healthy smile. Her approach is to treat everyone as she would her own family & friends.
As a specialty-trained Prosthodontist with extensive experience, Dr. Ro offers expert care, whether it's a single tooth match to addressing advanced full mouth cases resulting from trauma, congenital defects, failing restorations, damage from systemic issues or bruxism and others All recommendations always consider the simplest, most conservative options first.
Dr. Ro enjoys her chosen profession and her amazing team, as much as spending precious time with her husband and children, and her snuggly and rambunctious Schnoodle Mochi.
